Mother Function Promotion opened its doors in 2003 promoting bands in the Denver local music scene. The following year, Mother Function crossed over from music promotion to product promotion assisting in the launch of a new soft-drink from Coca-Cola (Planet Earth's most recognized brand).
Also recognized was the unnecessary amount of waste and pollution created by many of these large marketing campaigns. As we have gone on to represent many of the world's most well-known brands, we have learned many ways to clean up mobile marketing and reduce our clients' impact on the environment.

- Telecommuting - we cut down on our daily pollution by working at home offices around the country
- Teleconferencing - instead of flying or driving to our company meetings and program trainings, all managers are conferenced in via web cams, phone and IM. We have the face to face with out using fuel upon fuel of cars and planes
- Carpooling - Event staff are encouraged to carpool together to each event
- Public Transportation - Event staff are encouraged to utilize public transportation when traveling to events
- In-Office Recycling - all home offices are equipped with recycling receptacles to collect recyclable office waste such as paper, envelopes, etc

- Print and Buy Locally - MFP supports local business and cuts down on the energy wasted on printing and shipping materials necessary for promotions by printing and purchasing items in-market
- On-Site Clean Up and Recycling - Every one of our event sites are left cleaner than before we arrived. All recyclable materials are taken to be recycled following each event
- In Vehicle Recycling - Every one of our program vehicles comes equipped with a recycling bin to keep up with our mission, event between events
- Alternative Fuel Vehicles - SUV just won't fly, unless they have wings or are hybrids. Our personal vehicles are alternative fueled or fuel efficient and our event/ program vehicles are also the same
- Offsetting Carbon Emissions - There are many choices available that will allow any business to cut down their impact on the environment. Sometimes the better alternative is not available, feasible or as affordable. Mother Function Promotion also helps businesses off-set their carbon emissions by calculating the impact of their mobile marketing campaign and making a donation to Conservation International in our clients' name.
